Finally stop to visit the Babe Didrikson Zaharias museum in Beaumont

She died only two years after the RF-101 Voodoo came into service

The RF-101 was in service 1954-1974 in southeast Asia

If you win enough golf tournaments, you start winning fighter planes?

The area was settled in 1825 as Tevis Bluff & became Beaumont in 1838

Finally head over to the little museum building

Two fountains, one on either side, no coins inside

She won 82 tournaments and took home alot of silver cups/bowls/tea sets!

Lettered in 5 HS sports and won 2 gold & 1 silver medal in the 1932 Olympics

It was great to finally stop and give the great lady some respect
