LC Park Reconfigure - November 25th, 2020

Visit the reconfigured League Park in old town League City days before the Annual City Tree Lighting

Erin comes along to see the changes to the park

Pavers, fountain and three flags looks very familiar

The park last had a sprucing for the nation's sesquicentennial

Walk past the expansive lawn toward Main Street

The first city park for the City of Live Oaks!

Town Clock was added to the park in 1986

View over the front garden beyond the railroad tracks and Walding Station

The gazebo was original built and referred to as a bandstand

Original 1895 two-story bandstand was rebuilt after the 1900 storm

John League won the Battle of the Burgs!

The Park Reconfiguration had the koi/turtle pond and crossover bridge removed to make more lawn room for festivals/booths

The Walding Station Event Venue has had up and down years with various tenants coming and going

Determine the fountain was moved to where the koi ponds once stood

The annual tree lighting will happen on Sunday, November 29th

Erin is ready for the start of the Christmas season!
