Visit the Madison County Courthouse in Madisonville, Texas

The 1896 courthouse burned down in 1967, as well as three earlier bldgs

Madison County's 5th courthouse was built in 1970

All county courthouses have a veterans memorial nearby

Sidewalk CAttlemen's Association has a marker to former presidents

The current president needs to come add water to the horse trough

Walk counter clockwise to the west side with tree branches hiding the clock

Continue on to the south side with a clock in the wide white divider

Delivery ramp to a lower floor on the south side of the courthouse

East side has a clock in the center top as well

And a memorial to CSA soldiers on the northeast side
