Moody Gardens Palm Beach - June 21st, 2014
Wake too late for sunrise, only visible one all week
Get discount tickets to Moody Gardens Palm Beach
Too bad the zip line is not part of the package
Erin leads the way to Palm Beach
Once inside, find Palm Beach at the mouth of Lazy River
No available lockers so scout a place to drop off stuff
Girls wade into Lazy River and look for available tubes
Find some tubes and go around the river twice
Collect the gear and head to the next aquatic fun
Check out the river both side while on the bridge
Will try the tube slide after crossing over the river
Girls aren't tall enough to ride inside the enclosed tubes
So continue on to the aquatic playground
Girls climb the tower and ride down the two slides
It is almost Erin's turn to slide down
She will slide down & make a 270° turn to the bottom
And she slows down in the braking pool at the bottom
Alex's turn to come down the same slide
She survives the G-forces and is ready to go again
An alarm sounds and the water tower dumps its load
Those underneath almost get knocked down from dump
Erin is next in line for the red slide down
The red slide makes a 360° turn on the way down
She swims the length of the brake pool to the exit
David gets in place at the next alarm sounding
SO REFRESHING! Alex stays clear
Pack up the belongings and move to the next stop
View the shore line walking back to the Lazy River
The Colonel makes its bay run from Moody Gardens
Rocky shoreline and dock by our next stopover
Do a couple loops on the lazy river and then head home
Capture the fun from the bridge to the park exit
Overlook Palm Beach and the restaurant area
David is tired after all the swimming and sun
Yet now there is a line to enter in the mid afternoon
Have a little left to give Alex a ride to the car
Try to catch the sunset from the front side balcony
Clouds on the horizon obsure the sun above the horizon
To the back balcony to feed the seagulls as the sun sets
Feeding seagulls is great fun when they don't poop on you!
