Everyone's favorite angle of George Washington on the South Mall

Although the Father of our County, he too was a slave owner

He demonstated peaceful rule change by stepping down after 2 terms

His statue will be removed by the party who refuses to step down

To the right is Batts Hall, where I took Psychology in Spring 1986

The 800am-930am class on Tuesday, January 28, 1986 to be exact

Beside Batts is the empty base for Gov. James Hogg, who later became wealthy from oil investments and donated large sums to The University. &nsp; A child in 1861, he was not involved with the Confederacy

Hogg's statue will be placed elsewhere at The University

The empty base of John Reagan, Democrat, District Judge, Postmaster General of the Confederacy, US Senator & 1st Chairman of the TX RR Commission, he founded the TX State Historical Association

The John H. Reagan State Office Bldg is over by the Capitol

Looking back at the grassy South Mall, George Washington & the UT Tower
